Trade war
The US Postal Service said it would temporarily suspend parcels from China and Hong Kong, after Trump ended a trade provision this week used by retailers including Temu and Shein to ship low-value packages duty-free to the US.
Trump said he is in no hurry to speak to President Xi Jinping to try to defuse a new trade war between the world's two largest economies sparked by his 10% tariffs on all Chinese imports.

Swedish police said there was no evidence of "ideological motives" behind a mass shooting at an adult education center in Orebro, and warned of misinformation spread on social media. At least 11 people died and many others were wounded in the shooting.
